Durability Meets Comfort



You will appreciate the increased comfort of the KUHN GA 8131, 8731 and 9531 with their minimum maintenance, easy adjustments and increased stability during transport, especially while turning or on slopes. Working widths range from 23'4" to 30'6".



KUHN GA 8131, 8731 and 9531 twin-rotor, center-delivery rotary rakes gently handle high volumes of hay and efficiently move it into high-quality windrows. They have the ability to move both wet and dry crops alike, while keeping your productivity high and maintenance requirements low. These semi-mounted rakes are known for their superior ground adaptation, durability and reliability, thanks to the Masterdrive® GIII gearbox. This KUHN-patented double reduction gearbox is the most reliable, heavy-duty gearbox available in the industry. 3D rotor articulation helps the rakes adapt quickly to varying field conditions, while the double-curved tine arms gently handle the crop and allow you to operate at higher working speeds. Working widths, ranging from 23'4" to 30'6" depending on the model, can easily be adjusted from the comfort of your tractor seat.



Masterdrive® Gearbox



The patented KUHN Masterdrive GIII double-reduction gearbox is designed for heavy crops, tough field conditions, and intensive use. Key components have been improved to build lighter, yet stronger rotors such as: aluminum alloy housings, optimized cam track minimizing force on the follower bearing, larger follower bearing diameter reducing rotation speed and pressure on the cam, tine arms with large-dimension bearings, sturdier pivoting tine support shaft, reinforced main shaft, and reinforced mounting of tine arms on tine holders. The Masterdrive GIII's ability to move heavy wet crop, handle dry hay gently, and neatly windrow corn stalks is unrivaled in the industry.



3D Suspension



Four wheels on each rotor are positioned close to the tines and 3D suspension allows superior ground adaptation of the rotors on the GA 8731 for better raking. The four wheels also provide more stable operation in rough fields. For even more stability and greater ground adaptation, six wheels per rotor are standard on the GA 9531. An additional tandem axle is also available on the GA 8731 to bring the standard wheels per rotor from four wheels to six.



Electric Control Boxes



The GA 8731 and GA 9531 come with the KGA 02C control box as standard equipment. The box allows the operator to easily switch from field and transport modes, set windrow width and optionally lift each rotor individually. The KGA 11C control box is available as an option to also enable individual, or linked hydraulic rotor height adjustment. The GA 8131 offers the optional KGA 01S control box to enable individual rotor lift or individual rotor height adjustment from the tractor cab.



Simple Height Adjustment



All you need is a hand crank to manually change the rotor height. A standard gauge on the machine makes accurate adjustment easy. Hydraulic height adjustment is available as an option on both models with the KGA 11C control box.



Windrow Width Adjustments



The windrow width is also easy to adjust. Working width is easily adjusted on the control box from the tractor seat to adapt to varying conditions or harvesting equipment.
